Someone will then discreetly unplug the electric car that was charging and reconnect the lights ... which finally starts to work. Small similar details : The father wear yellow gloves, there are 6 people in both families, the cars are red ...”

Fr « Les deux films fonctionnent sur un scénario étrangement identique : une famille inaugure les éclairages de noël de sa maison et se confronte à un dysfonctionnement de l'installation. Quelqu'un va ensuite discrètement débrancher la voiture électrique qui était en train de charger et re-brancher les illuminations... qui se mettent enfin à marcher. Petits détails troublants? Les chefs de famille portent des gants jaunes, il y a 6 personnes, les voitures sont rouges... »

When his granddaughter (or grandson) appears, he’s able to lift her/him up so he/she can place the star at the top of the christmas tree. The DocMorris video has so far clocked up more than 6.5 million views on YouTube! What a shame considering it's the remake of an already existing Italian scenario!”

Lorsque sa petite-fille (ou son petit-fils) apparaît, il est capable de le / la soulever pour qu'il / elle puisse placer l'étoile au sommet du sapin. La vidéo de DocMorris a déjà enregistrée plus de 6,5 millions de vues sur YouTube et a reçu des commentaires élogieux dans de grands médias internationaux! Quel scandale vu que c'est le remake quasi inchangé d'un scénario italien déjà existant! »

Fr « Un magasin de fringues d'occasion qui utilise une publicité de seconde main... il y aurait une certaine logique à ça. Sauf qu'en l'occurrence ils ne l'ont certainement pas fait exprès. Une idée ressortie du placard plus de 20 ans après, il fallait le faire! »

Eng “Two men are drawn into a duel over whose house has the best christmas light display. The story is the same in both cases with many identical small details (the use of a remote, the close-up view of the guys faces...). the overall concept looks pretty similar to me, even if I can admit that orange pushed it a step further.”

Fr « Malheureusement le scénario du blockbuster publicitaire de Noël d'Orange n'est pas très original. Il ressemble en tout point à celui d'un court métrage hollandais... dont la blague (éculée donc) a été poussée encore plus loin. Et oui, même à Noël Joe ne fait pas de cadeau! »
