“Considering it's a free lance (ghost) campaign, with no real brief, it's a pity to end up with such a similar idea. According to you, it's a clear cut case of bad luck or copycat?”
Fr
Eng
“I'm a true creativity lover... but please stop this, it breaks my heart to see the same ideas coming back again and again.”
Fr
Eng
“A giant condom covering an obelisk? What surprises me the most in this case is that the idea still appears as "provocative" in 2014, 21 years after its first appearance. Does it mean that attitudes have not evolved at all? Unfortunately it means that Aids still remains a big concern. Let's hope scientists are more innovative than advertising creatives!”
Fr
Eng
“Here is the line of defense "It was such a good idea, it has inspired us and we did a Swedish variant, says Conny Trygg, CEO of Media Power" (interviewed by Resumé). He argues that the idea is not copyrighted. Quite a lame way to justify a complete act of plagiarism.”
Fr

Eng “Let's finish 2014 with this unusual case. The french author of the 1988 ad for Naf-Naf recently accused Jeff Koons of infringement because of this supposedly counterfeit art piece of work. Copycat or coïncidence, what's your opinion? Artists can do whatever they want, or is it going too far, especially when they hide their sources?”
