Eng “The creative idea : upcycle plastic waste found in the ocean to create a brand new surfboard. Both ideas were born in the same ocean side country... coincidence? Be the judge!”

How can you guys compare these two projects? The older project you mention is just a thin layer of newspaper under the glassing of the surfboard. Technique already seen and used by many shappers. In the video case it’s not even the same execution of the picture and it’s not domestic garbage waste.
The Unwanted shapes are surfboards 100% made of real domestic garbage waste with their original weight and forms. It’s not just a skin under the glassing of the boards. They were specially developed to be ridden in a special heat between surfers of the WSL.
