Eng “The creative idea: replace a traditional large format advertising space with a giant iconic bag of the brand, with zero words and a minimalistic approach. In this bag race, IKEA was a few months ahead of Apple! Copy or coincidence? Be the judge!”

Eng “Both visual ideas portraits an Adirondack chair turned to face its breathtaking surroundings : a Canadian lake in a week-end summer break atmosphere. And if you take a second look both chairs are strangely similar to the advertised product. Shit happens because these 2 ran out in the same city at almost the same time. Coincidence? Be the judge!”

Eng “I have mixed feelings about this one. It's obviously a coincidence but it's quite funny that both agencies used the same artist (Simon Berger) on a very similar way : they made women's portraits with broken glass. Both in the same "non profit" sector, case studies are very similar and both operations use a QR code to experience more from the stunt...”

Eng “Both subjects are very different but they convey the message with an identical visual idea. A watermelon dress... the second one is less original, but a bit nicer. At least they upgraded the craft a bit. I'm pretty sure this fruity dress design idea is even older than these ads.”

Flippant? À vous de juger. »
